For research funding applications focused on advancing cancer care within the Kent community.
This initiative aims to support innovative research projects that address critical challenges in cancer treatment, diagnosis, and prevention. By fostering collaboration between Kent hospitals and universities, we seek to drive impactful solutions that will improve patient outcomes and enhance the quality of cancer care in our region. We invite researchers, clinicians, and interdisciplinary teams to submit proposals that align with our mission and contribute to our ongoing efforts to combat cancer.
In general we will support funding applications up to the value of £1000 to support registered MSc students, or to the value of £5000 to support registered PhD students. Though this may vary. These funds may support any aspect of the project except for conference attendance.
Applications must be submitted to info@kentcancertrust.org.uk using the criteria of Importance, Aims and Milestones and Expected Impact as set out below. Successful applicants will provide an end of project report and be designated as KCT ambassadors for the duration of the award.
