Jane Manning - Editor in Chief of Kent Regional News & Media has announced on behalf of the Group why they have selected Kent Cancer Trust as their chosen charity and with whom they will be working  over the next 12 months.

Jane (pictured left) said - "We'd all like to find a cure for cancer as it affects one in three people in their lifetime. KRN&M is at the heart of local communities. Our publications and website promote awareness of many organisations working to improve local lives. We are delighted to play our part in raising awareness of the fine ambitions of this charity and their work towards discovering positive ways of treating cancer and improving research. "

"Over the coming months our newspapers will be keeping you updated about the charity's efforts to raise an initial £150,000 to fund a three year research post and its long term plan to put Kent at the forefront in the fight against cancer."

Graham Furneaux, Managing Director of Kent Auto Panels Ltd of Folkestone, has provided fantastic support to the charity. Graham agreed to cover the cost of producing 10,000 more leaflets for The Kent Cancer trust, along with compliment slips, business cards and letterheads hence making a massive cost saving to Kent Cancer Trust. In addition, Graham's marketing team have been including a leaflet on the charities aims, along with the regular mailings they send to their customers ... helping spread the word of the Kent Cancer Trust more quickly.

In early 2010, we went to Neil Aplin at Latitude28, for some help in re-designing all of our marketing material. The outstanding support and guidance we received from Neil, has enabled us to create new leaflets and posters that better reflect the work we are doing

Thank you so much Neil, we couldn't have done it without you. If you would like to get in touch with Neil, use this link ... LATITUDE28
